source in the USA only (due to government regulations)looking for a cheap source of Jatropha seeds for bio diesel crop use.all i can find want big dollars for a few seeds (5 seed for $5.00 )or will swell only big lots 5000+ seeds for over $150.00i only need about 500 seeds for a test plot.and to play "johnny jatropha seed" on a larges amount of government river bottom land.i dont have land to grow a large cropbut there is a large amount of unused gov land that it may be grown wild on that people that know what it looks like could come in and harvest."jatropha curcas" only not jatropha podagrica or any of the other types

If you are going to grow them, please only grow them in your own tended plots.  It can be extremely harmful to the local environment to just plant these and let them go wild.  They could decimate the native plant life.  I appreciate the sentiment that you have but it is a horrible idea in terms of being good stewards of our environment.
