The Gov. is promoting to plant Jatropha Curcas (Tuba-tuba tree).The seed contain 35% of oil that can be converted to bio-diesel.Heres the link>

Yes, that is BIG PLUS to help our economy.1. Reducing the import of expensive oil.2. Environment Friendly.3. Generates more job.4. Cheaper fuel for Filipinos.

Of course...but it is not that simple. the developed countries are still studying the case-distribution, new type of efficient engines....This is a local decision in RP which has only a value in a bigger global policy. Without this, this decision is not relevant. What about better roads? What about a policy of real public transportation and not privatized public transportation like tricycles, jeepneys and toooo many taxis! What about nearly emission free cars, trucks...? What about regulaTING PROPERLY THE TRAFIC ! etc...Activism is not action!
